Making a positive impact on our community

Ghyston Foundation

We are committed to maximising the impact of the Ghyston Foundation on the local area and the tech community by pledging 10% of our profits to the Ghyston Foundation.

To mark our 10th anniversary, we established The Ghyston Foundation to enhance our support for the local area and tech community. By committing 10% of our profits to the foundation, we can set clear goals and sustain our charitable endeavours. Here are some of our recent initiatives

Our Charities of the Year

The Ghyston team nominate and vote on charities they would like to support each year.

We have worked with brilliant local Bristol charities such as BRACE, WomanKind and Freewheelers EVS.

To increase our positive impact and represent the breadth of the Foundation, we have decided to have two charities of the year, a Mission Partner and a Community Partner.

COMMUNITY PARTNER

This year’s community partner is everyFAMILY. A Bristol-based charity providing family support and childcare to the Southwest community.

Their aim to improve the education and development of babies and young children by providing family support services, community groups and preschool care.

MISSION PARTNER

This year’s mission partner is DigiLocal, an award-winning charity giving marginalised young people the opportunity to discover and develop their digital talents.

Their mission is to support a tech club for young people with every community in the UK that would like to provide one.

Mia Harris, Marketing and Social Media Executive

Mia is the Marketing Assistant at Ghyston. Not only does she play a role in the Sales and Marketing team, she is also a member of the Ghyston Green Giants – Ghyston’s dedicated ‘green team’, focusing on all things sustainable and environmentally friendly.

I’m so proud to be a part of the Ghyston Green Giants. It’s great to be able to contribute to one of Ghyston’s key values of sustainability. Our aim is to bring awareness to issues impacting the environment, particularly those related to tech and the need for green software, whilst also offering tips and support on how everyone can implement small changes to improve their environmental impact.
