We’re proud to have been named Best Place to Work at the 2025 Sparkies Awards. It’s a reflection of the culture we’ve built — one that puts people first and helps them do their best work.

A Space That Supports How We Work

Just over a year ago, we moved into a new Bristol office that reflects our values and ways of working.

It’s a space that adapts to how people actually work day to day, whether that’s team huddles, quiet thinking time or creative collaboration. There are flexible spaces, wellness rooms and more than 130 plants, all designed with wellbeing and sustainability in mind.

The office also supports our flexible hybrid model. We trust our team to decide where they work best, and we’ve made sure that time spent in the office feels valuable. Whether you're there to collaborate on a tough problem, catch up over lunch or find some focused time, the space works with you.

We want people to feel comfortable bringing their whole selves into work, and we’ve built an environment that makes that possible.

Inclusion That’s Lived, Not Stated

Inclusion at Ghyston is something we practise every day. Everyone is encouraged to contribute, and every voice is listened to.

One small but powerful part of this is AnnounceBot, our Slack tool that automatically celebrates birthdays, milestones and good news. It keeps us connected as a team, whether we’re in the same room or working remotely.

We also hold regular retros, where feedback leads to action. From project work to company-wide decisions, our people help shape how we grow and improve.

Growing Together

We believe learning is part of the job, not an optional extra.

Our Study Sessions provide dedicated time each week for development. Learning Club brings delivery teams together to share insights from live projects. We also support self-directed learning and peer mentoring, helping people build confidence as well as capability.

This investment in learning pays off. Our team keeps growing, not just in technical skill, but in collaboration, communication and leadership too.

A Culture That Delivers

We didn’t set out to win awards. We set out to build a company where people feel supported, valued and able to thrive.

This recognition tells us we’re on the right track. It’s a proud moment and a reminder of why we do things the way we do.
