Ghyston is the brainchild of husband and wife team Ric and Emily. Before Ghyston, Ric worked in London and had many technical roles, acting as a consultant, project manager and developer, and before that he was a technical project manager at the BBC. Ric’s educational background is somewhat varied, having a Philosophy degree from Cambridge and a Masters in Computing. Outside the office, Ric likes to keep fit by competing in multi-sport events like triathlons, and juggles his time mostly between that and a growing family.
Emily founded Ghyston with husband Ric, having spent a number of years working together in the software industry in London. Entering the workforce with a Mathematics degree from Oxford University, Emily started her career as a software developer, moving then into project management. More recently she has headed up the people side of the business, focusing on recruitment, welfare and company culture.
Away from the office you might find Emily spending time with her three young children or racing around an obstacle course with friends.
Dan has worked his way through a myriad of roles including consultant, scrum master, project manager, programme manager, and now Director and Chief Operations Officer of Ghyston. Throughout this winding path Dan has always held a fascination with how to get the best out of people, projects, and organisations, both in the short and long term.
